If you want to learn how to create these interactive maps, go to SpicyNodes and investigate (or, as they would say “get tasting”).

Google UncleSam Gone

June 12, 2011

In case you missed the non-announcement Google has stopped supporting the Google UncleSam (or U.S. Government Search). I’ve created a custom search that limits to .gov, .mil and .state sites which will mimic in part the Google UncleSam search.

Try it out:

There is a search box called U.S. and State Government Search in several of my LibGuides. Try it out by going to the Comm 1000 Libguide — the search box is in the first column. Contact me if you have any questions or comments.
